The Pre-conception and Pre-natals Diagnostic Techniques Act (PCPNDT Act) 1994, regulates sex selection, before or after conception. As per this law, it is illegal to test the sex of the foetus for non-medical reasons. - Click on the ‘Select District’ box. From the district list that opens up, click on the district in which the case you are reporting took place.
- Keep the name and address of the clinic or hospital handy as this information must be provided to register your complaint. Provide the name of the doctor/health staff if you know it.
- To indicate ‘How you came to know about the incident’, click your answer.
- If you want to provide more details about the answer you chose, you can do so in the box provided for Description of the complaint.
- If the incident you are want to complain about was experienced by you, your friend or family member, in the ‘Please answer these questions’ box select your answer from ‘Yes’, ‘No’, or ‘Don’t know’ for each question.
- If you have digital photographs, scanned prescription or any other document that can help prove the incident you are complaining about, keep these handy so that you can upload the files. This will make your case stronger.
- If you willing to be contacted for more information about the incident, click the small box. Note: This option is NOT compulsory, but it would be helpful for carrying out the investigation.
